phyzio.ch from agenda.ch, the physiotherapy software ready for the new LAMal tariff structure 2027

New LAMal tariff structure

Physiotherapy tariff 2027: phyzio.ch is already ready.

After almost 30 years, physiotherapy is changing tariff. phyzio.ch, the physiotherapy software from agenda.ch, has been billing in 5-minute units since July 2025 for accident insurance (LAA/LAM/LAI). The new LAMal structure follows the same logic: you have no software to change, no module to buy and no data to migrate.

What changes in practice

Where does the new tariff structure stand?

Physioswiss, H+ The Swiss Hospitals and prio.swiss have completed their negotiations and submitted the new structure to the Federal Council. The approval procedure is under way at the FOPH.

Submitted on 2 April 2026
Federal review six months at least
Planned entry into force 1 January 2027
Tariff partners Physioswiss, H+, prio.swiss

Introduction on 1 January 2027 still depends on approval by the Federal Council. Until it is confirmed, you bill exactly as you do today, and we follow the official timetable on your behalf.

What changes in practice in your billing.

The flat rate per session gives way to a fee-for-service tariff, calculated on the time actually spent with the patient.

From flat rate to service

The flat rate per session (positions 7301 and 7311) gives way to positions billed individually. The therapist, not the diagnosis, determines the method and the duration of the treatment.

5-minute units

Every service is billed in units of five minutes. Exactly the principle of the LAA/LAM/LAI structure that came into force on 1 July 2025, which you already know.

Services without the patient

Reports, interprofessional coordination and advisory interviews get their own positions instead of being absorbed by the flat rate.

Robotics and infrastructure

Robot-assisted treatments and services that require specialised infrastructure are recognised with dedicated positions.

Two therapists

Situations that require a second therapist get a position of their own instead of remaining at your expense.

Fall prevention

The fall prevention programme enters the LAMal catalogue: home assessment, individual treatment, advisory interview, report and coordination.

Topic Today From entry into force
Billing principle Flat rate per session, whatever the duration Fee-for-service tariff, on the effective time
Tariff positions 7301, 7311 and a few supplements A detailed catalogue, one position per service
Treatment duration Implicit in the flat rate Billed in units of 5 minutes
Work without the patient present Rarely billable Dedicated positions: reports, coordination, advice
Fall prevention Outside the LAMal catalogue Recognised and billable programme
Transmission to insurers Electronic invoice via MediData Unchanged, electronic invoice via MediData

The structure is cost-neutral: it is the point value, negotiated separately, that will determine your remuneration.

Why phyzio.ch is already ready.

This is not a promise for 2027: time-based billing has been running for our customers for more than a year.

Already live

We already bill in 5-minute units

Since 1 July 2025

The accident insurance tariff structure (LAA/LAM/LAI) introduced on 1 July 2025 has been integrated into phyzio.ch since it came into force. Our users therefore already bill on time, in units of five minutes. The LAMal structure 2027 takes over this model: for you it will be the same gesture, on another tariff.

Positions already integrated

25.110 to 25.820

Already live

Fall prevention is already billable

Since 1 July 2026

The fall prevention programme, one of the novelties of the 2027 structure, has been available in phyzio.ch since 1 July 2026: home assessment, individual treatment at the practice or at home, advisory interview, standardised report and interprofessional coordination, all in units of five minutes.

Positions already integrated

27.001 to 27.006

Already live

The new notions already exist in the file

Captured from the agenda, without double entry

The services that the new structure values are already boxes to tick in the treatment, not lines to type again:

  • Robotics, upper and lower limbs
  • Second therapist, with the duration
  • Teleconsultation
  • Home visit and home assessment
  • Medical training therapy, with or without a therapist
  • Reports to the doctor
  • Coordination and advice without the patient present

Your electronic billing does not move

Invoices go to the insurers via MediData, just as they do today. The change of tariff affects neither your accesses, nor your ZSR number, nor the tracking of transmissions and payments.

The update is included

No paid module, no version to install, no data migration. As soon as the structure is approved, it will reach your phyzio.ch through an update included in your subscription, exactly as in 2025.

There is nothing for you to do right now.
Keep billing as you do today. We follow the approval procedure, we prepare the positions, and we warn you as soon as the switch-over date is fixed.

What you gain from it.

A time-based tariff requires knowing the time spent. In phyzio.ch, that time is already in the agenda.

No double entry

The duration of the appointment and the details of the treatment are already captured. The units of five minutes follow from them, you count nothing again.

Positions proposed automatically

phyzio.ch proposes the positions matching the treatment captured and the tariff applicable on the date of the session.

Control before sending

You review every invoice, position by position, before transmitting it to the insurer.

Statistics per position

You see what you actually bill, per position and per therapist, and you measure the effect of the new tariff on your practice.

Tariff updates maintained

New positions, point values, validity dates: we maintain the catalogue, you bill.

Unlimited human support

In French, German and Italian, by phone and e-mail, at no extra cost.

Free and open to all

agenda.ch is organising information seminars

So that nobody discovers the new tariff on the day of their first invoice, agenda.ch is organising free information seminars on the 2027 tariff structure: what changes, how to bill in units of five minutes, and what it looks like in practice in phyzio.ch. Open to all physiotherapists, whether you are a customer or not.

Online

Short sessions by video conference, with your questions live.

On site

Small-group meetings, in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.
